KMA Acne Treatment

how it works

Our approach to treating acne involves a multi-faceted strategy designed to target the root causes of the condition and promote clearer, healthier skin. We begin by evaluating your specific acne concerns and developing a customized treatment plan that may include:

  • DiamondGlow: This advanced exfoliation treatment helps to remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and enhance overall skin texture.

  • Facials: Tailored facials designed to cleanse, soothe, and treat acne-prone skin, reducing inflammation and promoting healing.

  • Chemical Peels: These treatments exfoliate the skin’s surface, helping to diminish acne scars and improve skin clarity.

  • IPL Photo Facials: Intense Pulsed Light technology targets and reduces acne-causing bacteria and inflammation, improving skin tone and texture.

  • Microneedling: This procedure stimulates collagen production and helps reduce acne scars, promoting smoother skin

  • Prescription Medication: Customized to address more severe or persistent acne, these medications work in conjunction with other treatments to control outbreaks and support skin health.

what to expect

New patients will undergo a consultation with one of Kimiko Medical Aesthetic's specialists.  Peeling may vary from person to person, and some people may not experience visible peeling at all. This doesn’t mean the treatment wasn’t effective. Depending on your skin type, the type of peel used, and the number of layers applied, you might experience: Sheeting: Larger sections of skin peeling off at once, Flaking: Small, dry patches similar to mild sunburn or dry winter skin. Invisible Exfoliation: Cellular-level exfoliation that isn’t visible but still effective.

Regardless of the type of peeling, the treatment is working to rejuvenate your skin. Your recovery time will depend on the level of peeling you experience. Following your post-procedure care instructions is crucial for optimal results and to minimize redness and peeling. Avoid sweating for 48 hours post-treatment and always use an SPF 30 or higher to protect your skin from sun exposure. Your clinician will provide personalized aftercare instructions to support your skin’s healing and enhance your results.
