Freeze away fat? It comes down to science. Fat cells freeze at higher temperatures than surrounding tissues. CoolSculpting technology safely delivers precisely controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells underneath the skin. The treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), and then die. Over time, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells, leaving a more sculpted you.
You can reshape your body! We will develop a customized CoolSculpting treatment plan that addresses your problem areas. Additional sessions may further enhance your results. Your individualized treatment plan will be tailored to your body, your goals, and your budget. It’s easy to sit back, relax and say goodbye to stubborn fat. After we select the area(s) to be treated, the device is positioned on your body and controlled cooling is applied. During your procedure, you may choose to read, watch TV, or even take a nap. The CoolSculpting fat freezing procedure is completely non-surgical, so you can typically return to work and normal activities immediately. In the weeks and months following your procedure, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells. Once the treated fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good.

Years ago, scientists at Harvard University observed that some children who ate popsicles got dimples in their cheeks, this is called “Popsicle Panniculits.” Scientists—Dieter Manstein, MD and R. Rox Anderson, MD—realized that the popsicles were freezing and eliminating small pockets of fat cells. The idea that cold can target fat cells—without damaging the skin or surrounding tissue—was the insight behind Cryolipolysis®, the proven science on which the CoolSculpting procedure is based. After many years of research, CoolSculpting for the body was introduced.
The best way to know if you are a candidate is to come in for a comprehensive consultation with our certified clinician. CoolSculpting is not a weight loss procedure. However, if you want to lose unwanted fat and look slimmer in your clothes, then CoolSculpting may be right for you. It is intended for body contouring. CoolSculpting works for both men and women!
The CoolSculpting procedure safely delivers precisely controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells underneath the skin. Treated fat cells are crystalized (frozen), then die. These fat cells are naturally processed and eliminated, so they won’t migrate to another area of your body. And, unlike what happens with other procedures, there’s no change to fat cells in untreated areas. Each treatment actually reduces the number of fat cells in the treated areas by about 20% to 25% each time you do the procedure. We do what is called Treatment to Transformation. This includes a minimum of two treatments in each area. That way you will eliminate your fat cells by 50% or more. If you can pinch it, we can most likely freeze it!
Your certified clinician will mark the areas to be treated. Pictures will be taken. During your treatment, a gel pad and applicator will be applied to the targeted area. Because most applicators use a vacuum to draw fatty tissue into the applicator cup, you may also feel some pulling, tugging, and/or mild pinching. The CoolSculpting applicator then delivers controlled cooling to the targeted fat. Though you may feel intense cold initially, this feeling usually subsides within 5 to 10 minutes as the area numbs. During your procedure, feel free to read, check email, watch TV or even take a nap. After the treatment, your clinician will remove the device and massage the treated area for a 68% greater result!
The initial consultation is 30-40 minutes. Next, we schedule a day that is convenient for you for your treatment. The length of your treatment will vary depending on the number of cycles and areas being treated. Each cycle takes 35-60 minutes. Our CoolSculpting treatment room is very nice and quiet. We offer Wi-Fi and Cable TV to keep you relaxed and entertained.
The CoolSculpting procedure is completely non-surgical, so which makes returning to normal activities typically an easy process. Often times, patients return to work after their CoolSculpting treatment is over or go to the gym that night or the next day. Following the procedure some side effects may include temporary redness, swelling, blanching, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, tenderness, cramping, aching, itching, or skin sensitivity. Sensation of fullness in the back of the throat is normal after treating the chin area. These effects are temporary and generally resolve within days or weeks. This is essentially your skin gradually “waking up” again from being frozen. Think about how your fingers or toes feel when they get cold and then when they begin to warm up or how they feel if you place them in warm water. That is a similar feeling with CoolSculpting. Though rare, some additional side effects may occur. As with any medical procedure, call your doctor to discuss pain control options.
Remember the basics of CoolSculpting; CoolSculpting is the most effective procedure for non-surgical fat reduction. It also works by contouring areas such as your hips, inner and outer thighs and abdomen. We recommend that you are 20-30 pounds of your ideal weight before you have CoolSculpting performed. Lipo-suction is a cosmetic surgery that breaks up and “sucks” fat from the body. During liposuction, small, thin, blunt-tipped tubes (cannula) are inserted through tiny cuts in the skin. Fat is then sucked out through these tubes as the doctor moves the tubes around under the skin to target specific fat deposits. There are a lot of things to take into consideration.
You are not to get CoolSculpting done while you are pregnant or breast feeding for at least a year. However, if you get pregnant after your treatment, it will not affect your pregnancy or delivery in any way.
Pricing starts at $750. Treatment costs vary from person to person and depend on how many cycles and areas that are treated. We can create a customized treatment plan that's tailored to your body, your goals and your budget. We do have many in-house promotions that drastically reduce the price when multiple areas are done. Financing is also available. Call us today to schedule your comphrensive consultation! 918-394-2796
This treatment targets 3 different layers of your skin using radiofrequency energy to precisely heat the underlying network of collagen and elastin fibers and increase metabolic rate of subcutaneous layers. Also, a vacuum component is used to help maximize the penetration of the energy in the treatment area, increase local blood circulation, stimulate lymphatic drainage, and assist in decreasing the fat volume in fat cells. The result is fat volume reduction with small component of skin tightening.
Cellulite is one of the most common body conditions that comes with age, hormonal changes and genetic predisposition. This “dimpled” appearance tends to appear on legs, buttocks and bellies due to protrusion of subcutaneous (fat) tissue.
The radiofrequency energy heats the hypodermal layers to enhance blood microcirculation, in turn increasing fat cell metabolism leading to fat volume reduction. The heating effect in the dermal layers also contributes to connective tissue remodeling which tightens the skin for a longer period of time.
You will feel some mild suction and pulses of heat as the treatment handpiece is moved over the treatment area. This is a comfortable treatment. There is absolutely no downtime. Patients can return to their daily routine immediately after the session.
Each area is treated for about 15 minutes. It depends on how many areas of treatment as to how long your appointment will be. This will be determined at your free consultation.
Typically, 6-8 treatments spaced 2 weeks apart are required for maximum results. However, many patients have seen some results within the first few treatments.
