The light from the laser is absorbed by the color in the hair and heat is transferred to the hair follicle which then disables it so it no longer can produce hair. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

A small hand piece is held to the skin and the laser is activated. A mild burst of heat may be felt as the energy is released into the skin. There is little to no pain involved. The procedure time depends on how big the treatment area is. Redness, swelling, and small bumps around the hair follicle may occur following the procedure. This typically resolves in hours to a few days. Protective eye wear must always be worn during treatment.
