Dermal filler is injected along the angle of the lower jawline to the chin area in order to create a more contoured and defined appearance. The three most popular fillers used in the jawline are Juvederm, Juvederm Voluma, and Radiesse. Jawline filler can last up to two years.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Prior to your injections you will meet with your provider for a comprehensive consultation and will be provided with a customized treatment plan.
During your appointment, before photos will be taken and a topical numbing cream will be applied. When the injection process begins ice and other distraction techniques are used to ensure the most comfortable experience possible. Typically, it takes 15-30 minutes to complete your injections. Results are immediate and the reveal is our favorite part!
After your injections, you may experience bruising, swelling, redness, and tenderness at the injection site that may last from 24 hours to 2 weeks. Icing the area will help improve these side effects. Before you leave, you will be given post-care instructions and we will schedule a follow up appointment to assess your results.
